Ogando Tax

José Avilez Ogando is a tax law professor and researcher at NOVA School of Law, publishing academic papers in journals like Cadernos de Justiça Tributária and O Direito, and writing for outlets including Observador. He needed a personal academic site that communicated scholarly authority while remaining accessible to a broader audience. We designed and built a refined editorial platform — Playfair Display headings, warm cream palette, gold accents — with a bilingual PT/EN experience, dark and light mode, structured research topic pages, a blog, and a published papers archive. The result feels like a legal journal brought to life on the web.
